About the Programme
Creating Next-Gen Policy Leaders for a Rising India
LokNeeti was launched by the Indian School of Public Policy on India's 73rd Republic Day - 26 January 2022 - to democratise public policy discourse across the country. The programme imparts core public policy education in English/Hinglish to policy aspirants from across India, combining data analysis, design thinking, and behaviour change with one week of in-person classes.

Capstone
Practicum - Policy in Action
The Practicum enables participants to engage deeply with how public policy is implemented in practice. Working in groups, participants examine a live or existing policy, analyse its on-ground implementation, and apply LokNeeti coursework to propose ways to improve its effectiveness, equity, collaboration, or sustainability - bridging theory and real-world action.

Rajeev Kapoor
Associate Dean, ISPP · Sutradhar and Faculty
A retired IAS officer (1983 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre), Rajeev Kapoor held prominent positions across central and state governments - serving as Secretary in various ministries, Director of LBSNAA, and Joint Secretary in the Department of Personnel. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur, is an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad, and earned his Master's in Public Policy from Princeton University, USA.
